Yeah yeah hello.
Everyone is 'mugging'.

Main Entry: 3mug
Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): mugged; mug·ging
Etymology: probably from earlier mug to strike in the face, perhaps from 1mug
Date:
circa 1864
1 : to assault usually with intent to rob
2 : to attack suddenly : bushwhack

And we're all happy muggers, aren't we! Bwah. I don't know. I'm supposed to be doing Biology. But I'm not! Obviously. Ah... poo.

Add oil for EOYs, guys. After that we can throw away our notes and hibernate... or not. I don't know. My brain is all jumbled.

Goodbyeandgoodluck.

Bonjour!

2'4 is so much cooler when spelled with an apostrophe.

Anyway. Hello, this is Alyssa. O: YES, I bet you didn't see that one coming.

First off, I'd like to make an announcement:
My thumbdrive is gone. I HAVE LOST MY THUMBDRIVE. If anyone sees it, please return it to me. I told my mother the unfortunate news and she got really upset so it spread via the 'and-they-told-two-friends' network and now the whole house (10 PEOPLE!) is mourning the loss of my thumbdrive. I guess I should describe it... picture a thumb, just white with a blue nail and a black neck strap attached. Should you find it and return it to me, we will cast your statue in gold right smack in the middle of our living room. Or, if you want that park statue aura, we can cast it in the garden so pigeons can poop on your head and my dog can piss on your shoes. Well, crows. We don't get pigeons. Lovely, ey?

That said, let's move on to a more relevant topic. The Chinese Culture test is on Monday. Good luck, everyone. You can do it! Yes, ignore the sarcasm! Has anyone seen the 'Bob the Builder' title sequence? The song goes a little something like this:

Bob the Builder
Can we fix it?
Bob the Builder
Yes, we can!

Scoop, Muck and Dizzy and Roley too
Lofty and Wendy join the crew
Pilchard and Bird, Travis and Spud
Playing together like good friends should

Bob the Builder
Can we fix it?
Bob the Builder

Yes, we can!

Time to get busy, such a lot to do
Building and fixing till it's good as new
Bob and the gang have so much FUN
Working together, they get the job done

Notice the 'FUN'. Yes, people, that is SARCASM. I bet none of you ever sensed it. You are all in denial now, I can feel it.
"NOOO! Bob can't be sarcastic! It's like lying to little kids! Bob wouldn't do that!"
Because Bob der Baumeister (did I spell that right, Lu Ping?) was your childhood idol, ey? Don't lie. Bob the Builder was everyone's childhood idol... or childhood crush. If you don't believe me, ask around, see how many girls wanted Wendy to get run over by Roley back in the day. For guys, there's an equivalent. My brother Luke, we asked him if he liked Bob the Builder and he went, "NO!" Then we asked who he did like and without missing a beat, he answered, "I like Wendy!" He's two. I hope I haven't scarred your perfect picture of Bob, the beautiful, friendly, responsible Builder. He's a grown man singing to a bunch of toothless toddlers, you can't expect him to be genuinely enthusiastic, can you? Please don't rip his poster off your wall. Bob thrives on his fangirls.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ooa4BKo4-p0

Watch it. And look out for the sarcasm. He gives a little scoff at that part too. You can't deny it. Bob's putting on a fake front for the tots.

Good luck studying for the Chinese Culture test/ EOYs.
Hope you all have so much FUN.

So that's it for my debut post. I hope I haven't bored you all to tears.

Adiós!
Alyssa

Hi everyone. I'm here to recount to all of you the tragic incident of "when we all ganged up against deborah". Enjoy.

It was after school. Namely, after drama rehearsals. Specifically, after painting the drama door. At about 5pm. Si hui was trying to dig the broken paintbrush out of the power socket. Alyssa was on the computer. Grace, cherie, deborah and I were sitting around on someone's table, examining the spray paint can. Hyo Lim was somewhere.

I sprayed my shoe. Then I sprayed into the air. And I sprayed again. Unfortunately, I had sprayed too near deborah's face. And... you can guess what happened next. Grace and cherie started screaming and laughing at deborah and she was yelling her head off. And I started running.

I grabbed the huge black cloth that they had bought that day, and sped out of class. Deborah was hot on my heels. Again. Just that this time, my ally wasn't there.

I dashed down the corridor, to the staircase. I didn't think I'd be in a good position down the stairs, so I ran ahead to the science block. The area was empty, except for a handful of curious people in the science block classrooms. I heard deborah shouting behind me. I struggled with the cloth and finally got it covering me. I ran.

From our classroom in the classroom block, Grace and Cherie were screaming JIA YOU to me. Amazing what those two words can do, really. (Recall the talk that Chen li li gave us during the dance lesson that day). I continued sprinting down the corridor. Surprisingly, I didn't feel half as tired as during the 4 x 100 m. I sped on.

Halfway, I lost deborah. I didn't hear her crazy shouts from behind me. But I didn't dare look behind. I was starting to get a bit tired. I reached the staircase on the other side. I was panting. I dropped the cloth, trying to lose her lest she see me running with it. All the sec one classrooms were locked. I saw the 203 classroom open. I dashed inside.

"Sorry... Can I... Borrow... Your classroom? ... My friend... is... chasing after me." I was panting heavily. They stared at me. They carried on shifting their tables and chairs. I waited under the side table. Where was deborah?

I peeped out of the classroom and caught sight of hyo lim running happily in my direction. She did not see me. After about one minute she came knocking at the 203 door.

"Excuse me, did you see ... aurelia?" I popped out at her feet when she said my name. She broke into hysterical laughter, then started hacking and coughing violently. I stared at her and smiled worriedly. I did not know if deborah had heard her laughing/coughing.

Then Hyo Lim said, "Where's the cloth? I'll pretend to be you, okay?" My mouth agape, I stared back at her again in disbelief. She laughed a little and ran out. I heard her coughing. I retreated to my hiding place.

I waited patiently. Not long after Hyo Lim had gone, I heard Deborah's 'victory cry' and then Hyo Lim's voice, and confused shouts, and finally lots of laughing and coughing. I giggled. Then I waited for about one minute more.

The corridor was silent. I gingerly sneaked over to the back door and peered over the wall. It was empty. I wasted no time. I sprinted madly back to class and saw Grace and Si Hui huddled over the power socket with the paint brush still inside.

"Hi," I said. "I'm back." They started laughing in mad mirth and I asked them where deborah was. Their laughter would probably drive her back to class. I looked at my watch. 5.21. I should be going now, I thought. I hurriedly dumped everything on my table into my bag and was ready to go off when Grace bounded out of class and returned soon after with news that deborah was coming.

I let out a short, anxious cry. Grace told me to hide in the cupboard. I hid, with bags and all. Then she went out of class to keep watch for me. She came back in. Deborah was just round the corner. I braced myself.

Through the slits in the cupboard, I saw cherie. "I bet Aurelia is hiding in the cupboard, right?" She made a 90 degree turn and faced me. She opened the cupboard door. I stared at her. She got a huge shock, and instinctively closed the cupboard door then began laughing wildly. I continued to wait.

This was it.

Deborah swaggered into class. I think she suspected that I was in the cupboard. But I was more prepared than she. As she neared the exact spot... "AHHH". Everyone screamed. Including me. I banged right out of the cupboard. Deborah received a shock too.

After a split-second's hesitation, she aimed the spray paint can at me. I covered the nozzle with my hand. She sprayed. I screamed. My pinkie got it. I released my grip and tumbled out of class. But with my bags propelling me in every undesirable direction, deborah was swifter than me this time. She sprayed again. In my face. Well. She was hoping. I defended myself and she ended up spraying my red plastic bag. It turned blue. There was probably some alkali solution somewhere around there.

I screamed and ordered her to stop. Then I stared at her face.

There wasn't any paint on it.

"Did you even check the mirror?!?! There's no paint on it, please!!"

She gave that kind of "oh-oops-hehheh" kind of expression.

Then we all stood outside class, recounting our different perspectives of the story to one another. Hyo Lim had taken the black cloth and covered her head with it. Deborah saw her and was about to spray her. Cherie unknowingly became deborah's ally, but I stole her back to my side. Grace and Si hui only saw me running like a psychopath with deborah chasing me round the science block.

If only I had video camera-ed the whole thing, I said, when we walked back into class. Yeah, haha, thankfully Alyssa didn't video me, deborah commented.

Alyssa looked up and said, "Huh?"

We all collapsed in laughter once more.

THE END.

Hah. That was a really great story, wasn't it. And that's how I got a terrible throat infection again. Well. Goodbye!

Aurelia
